The increased participation by international institutional investors in the U.S. capital markets has run headlong into a peculiar and thriving feature of the U.S. scene -- the securities class action -- which has traditionally been regarded as repugnant by many non-US investors. This report investigates the increasingly active role that international investors are taking in U.S. securities litigation.
